CWIT Project at the CoP 2015!

During the 2015 meetings of the conferences of the parties to the Basel, Rotterdam and Stockholm conventions, more than 35 side events will be held during lunch breaks and in the evenings  on major issues covered under the conventions. From 7 to 9 May 2015, specific events related to the Science Fair will also be organized in parallel to the negotiation process.

The CWIT project will be represented by INTERPOL, UNICRI, UNU and CBRA. The project results to date will be presented. The session is scheduled for 1.15-2.45pm on Saturday May 9th in Room 4.

Please note that all speakers and participants who wish to take part in side events must be duly registered for the COP meetings. Depending on their status, they can register in one of the following categories: party representative, observers (Non-party State, UN bodies, other bodies and agencies e.g. IGOs, regional centres, NGOs), or others. If the panelists, participants and/or speakers do not belong to any of those categories, they will need to register as “visitor”. All speakers and participants have to be in possession of a conference badge in order to access side event rooms.
